Trakm8 is pleased to announce a comprehensive feature update to their ecoN fuel saver product that provides feedback to the driver and fleet operator on the driving behaviour in their vehicles.
The new speeding modules allow customers to view driver risks within different speed bands, and in conjunction with behaviour factors allow safety risks to be measured.
The update follows an exceedingly successful launch of the product in July 2012. It provides a range of feature improvements that includes:
- Configurable reports at both Driver and Vehicle level.
- Speeding risk scoring
- Improved driving score module
- Inclusion of Greenband driving
Over 3000 vehicles are now fitted with ecoN and many more are being planned over the coming months. Research across a range of customers shows that savings of 10% over the fleet and 20% plus on Individual drivers is a proven achievement.

Trakm8 Limited in the UK.
Andy Phillips has been appointed as Accounts Director with responsibilities for the Application Engineering activities along with Key Account management. Andy has considerable automotive engineering experience having worked for Land Rover and more recently for 10 years as Engineering Director at automotive diagnostic equipment and services provider, Omitec Group.
Jon Law has been appointed as Corporate Sales Director with responsibilities for generating new business targeting the largest fleets in the UK. Jon has considerable solutions sales experience having spent many years with UK electronic fire and security solutions company, ADT.

A simple, flexible & affordable intelligent real time tracking system...
Trakm8 is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new product for the small vehicle fleet called Trakm8 Prime. Trakm8 Prime is a simple, effective, low cost tracking system designed to provide location and vehicle route information both in real time and as historical reporting.
An easy to use web interface shows the vehicles current location, the current journey and the associated speed. Trakm8 Prime will alert the fleet operator to activity within user defined points of interest and access to historical journey information in a clear and user friendly format. The most popular and useful reports are presented using the easy to define reporting system.
This product uses the Trakm8 T8 mini hardware as the vehicle tracking unit, which is small, rugged and waterproof. As a result it is easy to install and can be used in applications like motor bikes where the weather might impact another type of unit. It also has exceptionally low power consumption and
so is ideal for trailer or plant asset tracking.
Trakm8 Prime will be marketed at the small vehicle fleet, where the operator does not have the management time to assess a large amount of data but needs to know without any difficulty, exactly where their vehicles are and where they have been.

Trakm8 is pleased to announce the launch of an exciting new product called Trakm8 Dynamics. This product monitors in real time fleet deliveries against a predefined delivery schedule.
An easy to use web interface shows the vehicles, the proposed delivery points and times against the telematics derived predictions of actual delivery times. Drops that are in jeopardy can be easily identified and either corrective action taken or customers notified.
An additional valuable feature is that the systems can be used to alert the customer via a text when the delivery vehicle is a predetermined time away.
This package can be used in conjunction with Trakm8’s market leading Swift and fleet management solutions or completely independently.
