Trakm8 have a pedigree and heritage that establishes them as one of the most innovative companies in telematics. Put simply our record speaks for itself:-

• Trakm8 was founded in 2002, having been spun out from its mother company Interactive Products Limited, a research and development company founded in 2001.
• Trakm8 designed and developed the world’s first GPRS based GPS tracking system, the T2002 which was launched, in May 2003. This unit was to revolutionise the GPS tracking market and has gone on to sell over 50,000 units. Trakm8 continued to develop products and now have a portfolio which includes the T4, SOLO and T6 platforms.
• Trakm8 develops Explorer 2.0 our own PC Based software application in 2003 and continues onward develop our software portfolio with the launch Explorer 2.4 in 2004.
• Trakm8 continues to revolutionise the market place with the launch of two new hardware platforms the feature rich T4 and SOLO.
• Trakm8 hardware achieves Thatcham Cat 5 approval with 4 of first 5 approvals being based on the T2 platform.
• Trakm8 sign major contracts with two FTSE100 customers during 2005
• Trakm8 develop a flexible operating systems and software modules are designed around our modular software platform known as STREAM. STREAM is the basis of all our software applications from our simple SWIFT fleet management option to the rich reporting offering of XP3 and ER.
• November 2005 - Trakm8 admitted to the AIM stockmarket
• May 2006 - Trakm8 acquired Interactive Products Limited, formally its mother company to secure the IPR held by IPL.
• January 2007 - Trakm8 launches Trakm8 SWIFT our first total solution product offering.
• February 2007 - Trakm8 gains ISO9000 accreditation.
• June 2007 - Trakm8 reaches a landmark 100,000 units sold globally.
• August 2007 - Trakm8 Holdings acquired PJ Soft an acquisition which allows Trakm8 to secure and complete the value chain.
• October 2007 - Trakm8 Holdings enters into a licensing agreement with Tyco to develop and market the new T6 Platform which once again revolutionises the Telematics market place.
