With tough CO2 emissions set for LCV manufacturers by the EU, Trakm8 are able to accurately measure the amount of CO2 emitted by fleets, and visitors to the CV Show in April will be able to find out how.
Trakm8’s innovative algorithm uses many different vehicle parameters to accurately measure how much CO2 a vehicle emits.
Following research with the Technology Strategy Board and Imperial College London, Trakm8 are the only vehicle telematics company to accurately measure the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere, and not rely on manufacturer’s estimates.
John Watkins, Trakm8’s CEO, said: ‘For green thinking fleet managers, CO2 is increasingly becoming a major factor in determining which LCV to purchase. Using our own algorithm, we can accurately measure the amount of CO2 each van in a fleet produces, and identify areas that can be adapted to reduce the amount of CO2 being emitted.’
Trakm8 are on stand 4C50 at the CV Show which is at the NEC in Birmingham from 12-14 April.
Also being displayed at the show will be Trakm8’s fuel consumption reducing technology, their latest innovative hardware – the T8 – and SWIFT – the user friendly web portal.
