Position Overview

Trakm8 is a market leader in the fast-growing vehicle telematics market sector. Based in Coleshill and other UK locations but with a global marketplace Trakm8 is well placed to take advantage of current market opportunities. Increased fuel costs, reduction in operating costs and numerous employment laws such as Duty of Care are all driving increased interest in our products and services. As such we now have an opening for a seasoned Channel Sales Manager to join our Established Channel team covering the South region.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Manage and develop existing dealer/reseller network to increase hardware sales, recurring revenues and products/solutions provided – telematics, cameras, optimisation etc
  • Work closely with partners to assist in closing sales – bid assistance, appointment making, client presentations etc
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure dealers have relevant sales collateral and participate in trade shows, promotions etc
  • Research, qualify and develop suitable new resellers/dealer opportunities to help grow our dealer network – this will include prospecting and cold calling
  • Negotiate commercial agreements within agreed parameters.
  • Manage new partners – once on board make sure they are fully aware of our products and services at all times and provide/deliver relevant training if required
Requirements:
  • Extensive sales/business development experience, some of which will ideally have been gained in a Channel Sales environment
  • Technical Sales background – preferred
  • New business generator – capable of developing new leads through own initiatives
  • Highly degree of self-motivation and drive
  • Capable of working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales goals
  • Willing to travel UK wide (and possibly further) on a regular basis
  •  Knowledge of the telematics and associated automotive industry
