Position Overview

Trakm8 is a market leader in the fast-growing vehicle telematics market sector. Based in Coleshill and other UK locations but with a global marketplace Trakm8 is well placed to take advantage of current market opportunities. Increased fuel costs, reduction in operating costs and numerous employment laws such as Duty of Care are all driving increased interest in our products and services. As such we now have an opening for an experienced Insurance Account Manager to join our established team.

The Role:
  • Manage key accounts and project related activities with existing Insurance customers
  • Development of an extensive pipeline of opportunities within the existing Tier 1, 2 and 3 accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and harmony
  • Working with customers and colleagues to identify, recommend and deliver product enhancements
  • Support the Business Unit Director with commercial activities
  • Develop new opportunities in the SME market
  • Ensure Trakm8 are invited to participate in tenders and their subsequent completion.
  • Promote Trakm8 through attendance to conferences.
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of the Insurance Telematics market, emerging technologies, and communicate the findings to senior management and relevant departments.

  • Develop strong interdepartmental relationships.
Requirements:
  • Personal Lines Motor Insurance experience is required
  • Sales experience in an internal sales environment
  • Extensive experience selling to senior management and SME business owners
  • Excellent presentation & questioning /listening skills
  • Documented success in securing “New business contracts” – values in excess of £50k
  • Documented ability to exceed sales targets consistently
  • Class leading account management
  • Excellent pipeline management & forecasting
  • Strong understanding of project management
  • Ability to sell complex solution
  • Target Driven
  • Experience of Telematics or similar technologies is preferable
