Position Overview

Trakm8 is a market leader in the fast-growing vehicle telematics market sector. Based in Coleshill and other UK locations but with a global marketplace Trakm8 is well placed to take advantage of current market opportunities. Increased fuel costs, reduction in operating costs and numerous employment laws such as Duty of Care are all driving increased interest in our products and services. As such we now have an opening for an experienced Senior Business Development Executive within our Insurance & Automotive targeted sales team.

The Role:
  • Development of an extensive pipeline of major “Blue Chip” corporate opportunities within, but not limited to the following industry sectors;
    • Insurance
    • Leasing
    • OEM’S
    • Finance
    • System Integrators
  • Ensure Trakm8 are invited to participate in major tenders and their subsequent completion.
  • Promote Trakm8 through attendance to;
    • Conferences
    • Networking events
    • Corporate functions
  • Develop an extensive knowledge of the Telematics market, emerging technologies, and communicate the findings to senior management and relevant departments.
  • Secure a minimum of two major new accounts per financial year.
  • Accurate and timely;
    • Forecasting
    • Reporting
    • Completion of visit report
    • Completion of strategic customer development plans
  • Develop strong interdepartmental relationships.
Requirements:
  • Extensive Sales experience within the Motor Insurance sector is a requirement
  • Extensive exposure to C-Level and senior management business development
  • Excellent presentation & questioning/listening skill – C-Level experience & senior manager
  • Documented success in securing “New business contracts” – values in excess of £1m
  • Documented ability to exceed sales targets consistently
  • Class leading account management (Gained within multimillion pound accounts)
  • Excellent pipeline management & forecasting
  • Strong understanding of project management
  • Ability to sell complex solution
  • Target Driven
