Trakm8 have a huge in-house Engineering team and offer to all employees varied and interesting work with the opportunity to build long term careers within the organisation. Due to steady growth we are now looking for a Salesforce Architect to join our fantastic organisation.

The Role:
  • Full Lifecycle software development of salesforce including consultation with internal and external customers to understand requirements
  • Provide documentation & training on all software developed
  • Mentoring other members of the Salesforce development team
  • Participation in daily/weekly scrum meetings

The Person:
  • 5+ years of technical Salesforce experience
  • BS in Computer Science or Salesforce Developer 401 / 501 certification
  • Advanced knowledge of Visualforce, Apex, SQL
  • Extensive experience within Force.com
  • Advanced Salesforce configurations including ETL tool knowledge
  • Strong communication skills

Join the Connected Autonomous Vehicle and IoT community. Trakm8 are developing advanced driver assistance systems and driver behaviour monitoring algorithms for existing vehicle models using market leading 4G vehicle camera systems and advanced diagnostics plug in devices for the mass market.

The Role:
  • Research and development of algorithms for use with Trakm8 products such as driver behaviour algorithms for measuring insurance risk; algorithms for crash detection and analysis; vehicle diagnostics and prognostics for predicting failure modes and probabilities
  • Production of research papers and reports to provide insight into Trakm8 data and results of algorithms
  • An important part of data science is extracting, transforming and loading data which requires excellent programming and scripting skills
  • Release of tested algorithms to the development team

The Person:
  • A strong statistical and mathematical reasoning skills and strong programming skills
  • A science based Master’s Degree or PHD with an analytical basis and a strong emphasis on machine learning and statistics is required
  • Experience with machine learning: Deep learning, Linear regression, Decision Trees, Boosting, SVM, supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, clustering, feature extraction; Bayesian probability theory; Predictive modelling: many of Trakm8’s big data problems are towards being able to predict future outcomes; Hypothesis testing: being able to develop hypothesis and test them with careful experiments
  • Statistical analysis: to understand and work around possible limitations in models
  • Being able to work in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment

Desirable Skills:
  • R, Rcpp, dplyr, Tidy data

Trakm8 is seeking an expert in real-time computer vision systems to grow its existing research team developing automatic driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as forward vehicle detection systems, automatic sign recognition and lane detection systems. Trakm8 is a leading innovator in driver behaviour analytics such as risk scoring for the insurance sector, vehicle prognostics, automated vehicle crash detection and its developing computer vision systems for automatic driver assistance systems (ADAS). Trakm8 is seeking highly motivated candidates to create the next generation of algorithms.

The Role:
  • Research and development of algorithms for use with Trakm8 products
  • An important part of data science is extracting, transforming and loading data which requires excellent programming and scripting skills
  • Release of tested algorithms to the development team
  • Development of vision based driver assistance algorithms
  • Integration of algorithms into an embedded Linux camera system
  • Contributing to system architecture design
  • Contributing to camera design / development to ensure vision requirements are catered for

The Person:
  • To be successful you will have strong mathematical reasoning skills, and strong programming skills
  • You will have a science based Master’s Degree or PHD and proven experience with creating computer vision systems
  • As a Computer Vision Scientist you will be a programming expert who is comfortable in a range of different languages such as OpenCV, C/C++, Python, Linux, R
  • Ideally you will have extensive experience with the Linux operating system and be comfortable learning new skills quickly
  • PhD or MSc in computer vision / signal processing / machine learning
  • Strong background in maths / physics

The Role:
  • Full Lifecycle software development of Trakm8 core product set to include web portal software or internal applications such as CRM, Finance, Sales & Marketing or Business Intelligence
  • Participation in daily/weekly scrum meetings as well as regular Team meetings
  • Provide documentation on all software developed

The Person:
  • Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar discipline preferred
  • Exposure to the software development lifecycle to ideally include business analysis
  • Experience of software development in some or all of the following technologies: PHP, Python, JavaScript, Jquery, HTML5, CSS3, Angular(2+), Node.js
  • Experience of database technology such as MySQL, Redis, KairosDB
  • Experience of working with Linux and the LAMP stack

Due to steady growth we are now looking for a fantastic Systems Test Engineer to join our engineering team in Shaftesbury.

The Role:
  • Assist Systems Test Engineering Manager in establishing and maintaining formal QMS process documents and associated records
  • Assist Systems Test Engineering Manager in creating and maintaining departmental ‘systems’ and records
  • System level testing of company hardware, firmware and software products throughout the SDLC to include functional, load and performance testing
  • Input to project management process regarding estimates to complete; potential risks and opportunities; project issues; and reporting of progress/completion
  • Planning and production of test specifications, test cases and test data relating to company products and services against product requirements for new features
  • Production of regression tests against existing product requirements, including the production of automated tests
  • Testing of ‘fixed’ product issues
  • Production of system acceptance tests and associated data as required
  • Providing support to the development team through early system testing during development lifecycle
  • Providing support to customer services team as necessary to resolve customer issues
  • Provision of internal product training to team members as required

The Person:
  • Knowledge of standard industry processes and approaches to software, firmware and hardware testing
  • Knowledge and experience of standard industry processes and approaches to configuration management of test documentation, test equipment/platforms and test data
  • Experience of hardware, software and firmware testing, including production of formal test. documentation and maintenance of necessary records
  • Experience of web-based testing including functional, performance, load and security testing
  • Experience of Windows based application testing
  • Formal qualifications in a computer science subject, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Enthusiastic, self-starter with a willingness to learn new systems

Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Serial communications and associated test tools
  • Knowledge of a variety of data formats (ASCII, Hex, and Binary)
  • Familiarity with Bug logging processes (Bugzilla or similar)
  • Knowledge and experience of MS Windows and/or Linux
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle

This role would suite candidates with previous background as a Systems Test Engineer, Lead Test Engineer or Senior Systems Test Engineer.

The Role:
  • Collecting diagnostic data from vehicles
  • Reverse engineering and documenting diagnostic protocols and procedures using diagnostic tools and data collected from vehicles
  • Reverse engineering of vehicle diagnostic systems / functions
  • Validation of reverse engineered diagnostic functions and procedures
