Trakm8 have a huge in-house Engineering team and offer to all employees varied and interesting work with the opportunity to build long term careers within the organisation. As well as the Engineering team, we have in house Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support and Manufacturing all with a mixture of roles from entry level to management.

Location:
Coleshill, Warwickshire

Salary and Benefits:
Up to £80K dependent on experience (25 days holiday, pension and life assurance)

Headquartered in Coleshill, West Midlands, with a full manufacturing facility, Trakm8 is a UK based technology leader in fleet management, insurance telematics, and optimisation and dashboard camera systems. Through IP owned technology, the Group analyses data collected by its installed base of telematics units to fine tune the algorithms that are used to produce its telematics based solutions; these score driver behaviour, monitor vehicle health and continuously improve the security and operational efficiency of both private drivers and company fleets. Trakm8 has been listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange since 2005.

The Role:
  • Draft and review commercial agreements and support the Sales team in negotiating new contracts
  • Provide support to the Board on compliance including Alternative Investment Market (AIM), London Stock Exchange (LSE), Companies Act 2006 including FCA requirements in relation to the Market Abuse Regulations 2016, including organising and monitoring Company Close periods
  • Advise on operational legal issues, i.e. terms of trade, branding, IPR, Competition Law, Acquisitions & Mergers, as they arise
  • Review Press Release texts, including those issued through the Regulatory News Service (RNS) or through internal channels
  • Ensure compliance and appropriate reporting as required under Trakm8’s consumer license with the FCA
  • Provide general legal support to the business in relation to any other matters that may arise
The Person:
  • A degree or equivalent experience
  • A high level of literacy & numeracy
  • Business acumen
  • Diplomacy and confidentiality
  • MS literacy
  • Relevant experience in similar in-house role in the commercial sector
  • Ability to work independently as required
  • Excellent time management
Desirable Skills:
  • LPC qualification/experience
  • Qualified lawyer with current Practising Certificate (or eligible to hold a practising certificate under SRA rules)

The Role:
  • Assist with Company recruitment by drafting & placing job adverts both internally & externally.
  • Liaise with recruitment companies and negotiate preferred supplier rates.
  • Search for CVs against the criteria of the JD’s.
  • Schedule interviews and participate in the interview process when required
  • Make offers/regrets/draft contracts of employment
  • Carry out pre-employment verification including Referencing, Basic Disclosure, Credit Checks, Right to Work, Driving checks and Qualifications
  • Carry out Inductions and ensure training is completed & certificates are filed
  • Responsible for the shared HR email inbox, escalating queries, if required
  • Input sickness and holidays into the time and attendance system. Monitor and prepare sickness letters and produce reports
  • Maintain and update a database of job descriptions for all employees by liaising with the department managers
  • Update the Company Organisation Chart, audit Personnel Data
The Person:
  • Previous HR & Recruitment administration experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to act with the highest level of diplomacy and discretion

£17k-£18k per annum (25 days holiday, Pension, Life Assurance)

The Role:
  • Liaising with Install Engineers
  • Commissioning of Trakm8 and BOX Telematics supplied hardware on their respective platforms
  • Ensuring the correct asset details are taken at the point of commissioning
  • Carrying out full checks before passing or failing an install
  • Closing down/updating Works Orders within Salesforce with precise details regarding the work carried out and any issues encountered
  • Responsible for ensuring units have been moved to the correct customer Groups after installation has been completed

  • Extensive customer care skills and experience through call centre / contact centre
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic understanding of GPS technology in general

The Role:
  • Handle all resolve inbound and outbound technical issues from installers and customers usually via the telephone or email
  • Log all incidents on the ticketing system and follow through to successful completion
  • Comply with customer service level agreements
  • Liaise with other internal departments such a sales support, engineering and manufacturing to resolve any customer related problems
The Person:
  • Previous experience of working in a technical support at both 1st and 2nd line level within a call centre environment
  • Experience of solving technical problems related to software and hardware products
  • Excellent customer service skills – both written and verbal
  • Capable of working under pressure and prioritising workload
  • Good attention to detail - making sure all issues are logged on company CRM and followed through
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office
  • Willing to undertake shift or on call work if required
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of telematics hardware and software
