Pivotal, the UK and Ireland’s pre-eminent transactional management solutions provider, has invested in a suite of telematics solutions to support the continued expansion of its fleet.
The cash management specialist has partnered with Trakm8 to install the vehicle technology provider’s RH600 Telematics Integrated Camera throughout its 130-strong fleet of vans. Specialising in the safe and secure transportation of cash for organisations of all sizes, Pivotal has a network of seven depots across the UK and Ireland.
The investment in driver technology comes at a crucial time for Pivotal, as the business further grows its footprint in the two countries.
The roll-out of Trakm8 technology across the Pivotal fleet follows a successful trial of the solution at its Birmingham depot. The pilot scheme of the RH600, with vehicle connected data, helped Pivotal make significant savings on both mileage and labour across its fleet, with the solution’s optimisation function – an intuitive route planning algorithm – helping the depot reduce fuel spend by 15%.
