Trakm8 is excited to announce the launch of our next generation AI-enhanced dash cam, the RH600 Plus, featuring our unique Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) to help enhance fleet safety and reduce accident rates.
Built to address the challenges of commercial fleets, the RH600 Plus combines high-definition video capture with our uniquely developed AI algorithms to identify and alert drivers to risky behaviours in real-time, before incidents occur. The solution includes driver fatigue detection, distracted driving alerts and tailgating warnings, helping fleet operators move from reactive incident footage review to proactive risk prevention.
Reporting inside the Trakm8 Insight platform intuitively highlights risky behaviours, for example simplifying distracted driving events into sub-categories such as mobile phone use, drinking and eating, for targeted follow-up.
To complement Trakm8’s existing driver behaviour monitoring solutions, which provide drivers with real-time in-cab alerts when incidences of speeding, harsh acceleration or harsh braking occur – the ADAS-enhanced RH600 Plus provides real-time audible voice coaching alerts when signs of fatigue, distraction or insufficient stopping distance are detected.
In one customer trial, the RH600 Plus delivered a 75% reduction in incidences of distracted driving.
One practical challenge with many existing AI-cameras and ADAS solutions has been incidences of false alerts; wasting time and causing frustration for both drivers and fleet managers.
Trakm8’s unique edge inference algorithm, enables alert triggers and system reporting to be tailored to a particular fleet’s operations. This means fewer false alerts, and more time for fleet managers focused on improving driving standards and safety.
