The Trakm8 Prime Fleet Manager app provides anyone managing company vehicles with important insights into the day-to-day running of their drivers and vehicles while on the move. It follows Trakm8 Prime’s recent move to 30-day rolling contracts, priced from £7.99 per month, which gives vehicle owners added flexibility and control over their vehicle tracking requirements.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, Trakm8 Prime was originally created to assist smaller businesses, tradespeople and sole traders manage their cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) more effectively. However, Trakm8 has since experienced demand for its online solution from larger fleets of up to 150 vehicles, creating the need for a Fleet Manager app.

Available for free on the App Store and Google Play, the app has a large range of features to assist with the efficiency of running company vehicles. In contrast to Trakm8’s Driver app, which only allows drivers to obtain their personal data, the Fleet Manager app enables users to view data on all drivers and vehicles.
Search terms and filters help to dynamically refine results in the search, enabling users to show data for different vehicle types, vehicle functionalities and even drivers from specific teams.
With more time and money-saving features as standard than any other plug-and-play telematics system, Trakm8 Prime enables managers to analyse and address high-risk and fuel-thirsty driving behaviour; view highly accurate vehicle location data; receive vehicle health alerts and battery status updates; and review journeys. Drivers can also easily record business and private mileage, helping them to remain HMRC-compliant.
