Trakm8 is pleased to announce that Acis Group Ltd, a leading charity who support people through services including housing, education and skills, has chosen Trakm8 as its telematics and connected camera provider for its engineer van fleet. This strategic partnership marks another milestone in Trakm8’s mission to deliver intelligent vehicle technologies that drive efficiency, safety, and sustainability for fleet operators across the UK.
Acis Group, which manages over 7,000 properties across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and South Yorkshire, initially connected with Trakm8 at the 2024 Commercial Vehicle Show. At the time, Acis was actively exploring options for a telematics solution to enhance visibility over their 57-strong engineer van fleet. Their primary goals were to improve driving behaviour, reduce operational costs, and boost overall road safety for their drivers and the public.
Following initial discussions, Trakm8 introduced the C430D telematics device as a potential solution. However, after reviewing the full capabilities of the RH600 4G Integrated Telematics Camera, Acis opted to implement this more advanced system.
The RH600 is a dual-lens camera offering both driver-facing and road-facing video, delivering comprehensive visibility combined with telematics data in one compact device. It provides real-time insights into vehicle location, speed, and driver behaviour while capturing high-definition video footage, helping to resolve incidents quickly and fairly. With automated driver scorecards, live data streaming, and alerts for risky behaviour, the RH600 Fleet Dash Cam plays a critical role in enhancing safety and accountability.
To further strengthen their fleet oversight, Acis selected Trakm8’s Insight Business platform. This premium tier solution goes beyond basic vehicle tracking to deliver detailed driver behaviour analysis, Trakm8’s exclusive Connectedcare vehicle health diagnostics, and live odometer readings. Fleet managers gain access to customisable reports, dashboards, and alert settings tailored to operational priorities.
Additionally, the platform’s Incident Workbench integrates telematics and dashcam footage to provide a complete picture during collision investigations, helping accelerate insurance claims and reduce costs.
The procurement was completed through the Vehicle Telematics and Associated Services Framework, managed by Procurement Services. This framework ensures public and not-for-profit organisations can access vetted suppliers like Trakm8, offering best-value solutions with regulatory compliance and ease of procurement.
Mark Hartley, Repair and Maintenance Manager at Acis Group Ltd, commented on the decision: “We’re committed to delivering high standards of service to our customers and ensuring the safety of our drivers on the road. Partnering with Trakm8 has given us the technology to monitor and improve driver behaviour, reduce vehicle wear and tear, and cut unnecessary costs. The RH600 gives us the visibility we need to act quickly and fairly in the event of any incident.”
Joe Heidari, Fleet & Optimisation Sales Director at Trakm8, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Acis Group to the Trakm8 family. Their approach to fleet management aligns perfectly with the capabilities of our RH600 Fleet Dash Cam and Insight Business platform. We look forward to supporting them in achieving their fleet safety and efficiency goals.”
Trakm8 continues to support organisations like Acis Group in their digital transformation journey, equipping fleets with data-driven tools to improve safety, sustainability, and performance.
