All Fleets Great and Small: What you can expect from Trakm8 at the CV Show 2018

The most advanced 4G integrated telematics camera

The RH600 is what we believe to be the most advanced 4G telematics camera on the UK market. Launched last year to selected fleets including Iceland Foods and Calor Gas, it is now in full production at Trakm8’s UK manufacturing facility in the West Midlands. Integrating telematics with live-streaming dash cam technology in one compact device, the RH600 provides fleet managers with the insights they need to improve safety and reduce costs.

The combination of a camera and a telematics unit minimises the cost and down time of buying and fitting separate devices. It also means that users only require a log-in to one portal in order to access both vehicle tracking data and camera footage.

The leading-edge 4G dash cam can be fitted with either a single or a dual camera that monitors the driver as well as the road ahead, delivering a combined 280˚ degree field of view. The camera has live-streaming functionality; and is designed to deal with low-light or high-contrast lighting conditions. It also features a full suite of telematics applications, including vehicle tracking, driver behaviour, CANbus, tachograph integration, and our market-leading vehicle health alert capabilities.

It is also able to integrate with our route optimisation and scheduling algorithm. By ensuring vehicles take the shortest possible routes and are using the least amount of vehicles, businesses can increase productivity and further reduce fuel costs.

Visitors at the Trakm8 stand will be able to chat with the team about how the RH600 could be deployed to their own fleet and also demo first-hand our progress in building Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS) features. We will be demonstrating our micro-sleeping and driver distraction algorithms which will be introduced to the RH600 over the coming months.

Vehicle tracking for smaller fleets

Trakm8 will also use the CV Show to promote its ground-breaking solution for SMEs and smaller businesses, Trakm8 Prime.

Designed for small to medium-sized fleets, Trakm8 Prime is the only vehicle tracking solution in the UK that allows the customer to buy online, without the need for any intervention from a sales person. The telematics device can be self-installed in seconds, which means that there are no installation or removal fees – and vehicle down time is kept to a minimum.

It combines GPS tracking with innovative features designed to help save time and money, including a driver scoring system and Trakm8’s market-leading vehicle health alerts. It also includes business / private mileage management for quick and easy P11D returns.

In addition to viewing and discussing the benefits of Trakm8 Prime, visitors will be able to take away a Prime Device and begin their 30-day free trial, with no additional admin once they have left the stand.
